Tan Dat Organic Rice Production and Agricultural Services Cooperative was established in 2017 with a strong focus on organic rice, rice-based products and agricultural services including seeding,
transplanting, cleaning and sorting.
There are 65 members in the cooperative. The total growing area is 62 ha in 2020. The organically managed area is 50 ha. The buffer zone is 12 ha.
The main products are white rice (Dai Thom 8, ST, Japonica), brown rice and herbal rice (with the presence of Omega 3, 6, 9). With the support from the local government, Tan Dat Organic Rice Production and Agricultural Services Cooperative aims to cooperate
with other four cooperatives in Vinh Long province to expand the growing area up to 2,290 ha and get the organic certification for 270 ha until 2023.
